Service Description

Basic Handgun Course- 3.5 hour course of instruction with 1 hour range familiarization fire. Course Overview: A USCCA sanctioned course of instruction that introduces students to the principles, techniques and temperament required to own and operate a handgun. Additionally, all aspects of firearm safety are explored in depth. Students are introduced to pistol nomenclature / operation, various types of ammunition, the seven fundamentals of shooting, cleaning / maintaining a handgun and additional firearm related information necessary to understand and act responsibly with handguns. This course is beneficial for inexperienced students, as well as, those requiring a refresher to maintain their skill level. The class will also prepare the student to attend more advanced USCCA courses in the future. Course Length: 4.5 hours Course Topics: Classroom Instruction 1. Pistol knowledge and operation 2.
